So some of you may have seen, commented or voted on my last post about my centerpieces. If not, you can check that out here.
I decided to take the advice of some bees, and add yellow to my books for my centerpieces, in order to incorporate yellow. I think I am going to try to avoid the lemons. Because, they get super pulpy & take away from the beautiful blue glass.
Anyway, here are some pictures of my centerpieces, and the process! 🙂
This book is just the tester one, I got a little excited & over eager to start the stamping, so the spraypaint wasn’t completely dry – oops! 🙂
The not-so-beautiful books:
The front of the book:
The spine of the book (yes, the stamp is messy – this one was just the trial! :))
Lastly, the placement! Note – these are NOT my actual flowers. And, ignore the coupon hanging out of the book on the bottom. Also, the one on the bottom wasn’t completed yet! 🙂
so…. What do you ladies think!?

Awesome, I just bought a bunch of books and spent hours looking for the right covers with relatable titles about love or God. I never thought to just spray paint ones that did match. Thank you for the inspiration!

Ooh, that sounds great though! I love that you were able to find ones with neat titles! Adds a lot of character. I got 29 books for $6 so I wasn’t about to pass that up! 😀

@ brttnyhrrll : my mom found them at the local library one day! they were in an old box with a “for sale” sign in the foyer… if you are looking for books, I would definitely check out the library… they were dated encyclopedias! 🙂
