Very pretty!!! Did you make the flower yourself? Can you give me some pointers? Im trying to make hair flowers like this for my girls!
Yes- So you will use starch and funnels. Thread, needle and hair dryer. Snd then a crystal center button (which I got on ebay). Cut out petal shapes from the fabric at large size, medium size and small size. Spray both sides with the starch (lay them down on a towel and spray) then take the petal and push it in to the small funnel with the tip going down into the funnel. Use the hair dryer to dry it in the shape and pinch it too a few times before drying to give the petal shape. Do that for all the petals. Then start assembling by sewing the smaller petals, then the middle size petals, then sew on the large petals. Lastly, add a center.
I also used felt. Cut two circles, cut two little snippets in the middle of one and glued them together. Then I slid an alligator clip through the snippets and viola- you have a hair fascinator/bridal sash clip 🙂
Thank you! You give me hope!!! What kind of fabric did you use?
That is very pretty. I think this is what my daughter is looking for as a hair accessory and sash….thanks for the tutorial
