So, my idea has finally come to life!! After 4 hours of measuring paper, cat-eyeing, and using my beloved Cricut and Cuttlebug machines to cut out 170 hearts and 108 arrows, and add design to the paper, my first save the date sample is finally complete! What do you ladies think?? I can’t decide which I like better: The one with the arrow or without the arrow. I wish the arrow was a little longer but my Cricut only cut this size…the longer ones were too big at the arrow head, even on the smallest size! For some reason the color doesn’t look too purple on here….But it is!
This shows the color better!
There is also going to be a tag that pulls out that has mine and Mr. Sparkling Jules engagement pic on it and above it, it will read “Mr. and Ms. Sparkling Jules are getting married! Visit (our wedding website address) for more information. Formal invitation to follow.”
Including the wallet sized pictures of me and my future hubby, each save the date cost me about 45 cents….a little less than $30 for all of them (not including purchasing envelopes).
What do you ladies think? Arrow or no arrow?? The arrow on this one is a little bent – but it’s just a sample!
Did anyone complete a DIY project and second guess any of the decisions once complete?
