Im trying to find info about creating invites using scrapbook paper….I fell in love with a designer page at Michaels! Its Demask and felt although Im not sure if it would work with printing.
So, I was thinking of either folding the invites so they sit like an escort card and printing on the inside or placing some vellum or other paper option over the demask-felt paper.
Then I wanted to incorporate this amazing ribbon that matches my bridesmaids’ dresses to a T!
Any thoughts ladies? I could really use the help…..this is my first post!!!

couple of questions:
Are you going to mail the invites?
Are you wanting to make all the info on one sheet or make multiple cards ie. reception, rsvp, etc. ?
There are MANY ways you can use this paper to make your invites. BUT It probably wont be able to print on. If it has felt. What you could do is find a printable vellum. OR, you can print on cardstock and have vellum over top applied to the demask paper with ribbon. but this is going to show less of the demask paper.
OR you could try to do a pocket fold design and having the demask paper be the paper for the pocketfold because then that would show a lot. HOWEVER if you have a LOT of invites, this could get costly. And although you may love the paper and think its the cats meow…. they say most people dont even remember what the invites looked like. So its not the most important thing of your wedding. Dont spend above and beyond on it if you are on a budget.
good luck with everything!
