I saw the great idea for the “Here Comes the Bride” sign on Pinterest and knew instantly that I had to use it for my own wedding! I searched and searched for the perfect one for that would go with my fresh vintage themed wedding and couldn’t find the one I was picturing in my head so I decided to take it upon myself to make it come to life! I have an “extra” ring bearer so I made one for the entrace that reads “Here Comes the Bride” and that says “Forever and Ever Amen” on the way out.
I cut the letters in my Cricut, stamped them with the same stamp that I’m using on Save the Dates, invitations, etc., antiqued the edges with an ink pad and mod podged them onto the sign. I then used some beautiful (yet very expensive!) dies for the vintage lace look and placed them all over the sign!
My fiance thinks it’s too busy with all the detailing but it will mostly be seen from far away when my cute little ring bearer walks down the aisle with it! I had my fiance put handles on the back so that his little fingers don’t cover the words and so that it doesn’t sway back and forth while he walks.
