We used napkins instead of tissue paper. It was great because there was no meassuring. Cut along folder line and tada perfect squares. The napkins gave the floers a richer thicker look than the traditional tissue paper one. Decorated ever other pole like this.

These are very cute. What was the cost to construct them?

I see that she didn’t respond. I saw these directions that you could replicate with napkins instead of tissue paper.

There’s also this tutorial which the napkins are used as more of a “snowball” object, but you could cut the ends of each napkin fold to look more like flower petals. It’s a great step-by-step with pictures tutorial.
Hope this helps! 🙂

Sorry ladies, I have been on in some time.
Yes I followed the instructions like the Martha Stewart one. They are so simple and cheap. I also found it cheaper to use napkins rather than tissue paper.
I bought the napkins from Party City, I want to say I paid like 3.99 for 150 dessert napkins and 1.99 for 50 dinner napkins. I cut along the folds and used 6 squares per flower.
150X4= 600 squares/6 squares a flower = 100 small flowers for 3.99
50X4=200 squares/6 squares a flower = 33 mid flowers for 1.99
I used 5 colors, I’m pretty sure I didn’t spend more than $20
