I have spent the last few weeks searching for just the right dress, and I have def narrowed it down to these 2!!! I am having trouble deciding which to go with tho 🙁 I actually like the look of the David’s dress better… I felt the bling on the Adorae felt a little too much (like I had just won Wrestle-Mania). But, the construction of the Adorae felt better to me. They are both satin, and poly-satin at that, so material wise they are both very similar. Maybe I’m being a bit “snobby” by thinking of going with the Adorae just because of the designer, but I have to say that I was very pleasently suprised by what David’s had to offer! Any help or suggestions would be great! Thanks
P.S. If any brides of pics of yourselves in these dresses I’d love to see them! I will be posting mine ASAP… I’m on vacation this week 🙂

adorae is way popular. david’s bridal is different. if you look thru this dress gallery, there is another bride who has the db dress..

Omg I love these two dresses. I tried David’s Bridal one and it is pretty, but my good friend got married last October and wore the Maggie. Her dress was so beautiful I was the one who helped her pick it as well, it was so light and elegant in the dimond white. I would adivice going with the Maggie you will not go wrong I promise.
Best of Luck!!

I’ve always like the Adorae. I do though like the bottom half of the DB with the bow and that it hasn’t got the shine of the satin of the Adorae.

I think it all comes down to what your looking for. I’m sure David’s is more budget friendly but you defiantly get what you pay for when purchasing a Maggie dress. I fell in love with Jesslyn the first time I saw her and can’t wait to get it in. I personally love the bling. Whatever you choose you will look amazing I’m sure, it’s all about you 🙂

They’re both gorgeous!!!.. although, I’m not crazy about the large bow on the first dress.
I tried on the Adorae and it was a tough decision.. I ultimately decided on the Mori Lee 1802 which I LOOOVE and has tons of bling haha.

This is my dress. I got the Davids Bridal one. I am having my seamstress take off the beading in the middle and replace it with thicker jewels (like the Adorea one). I saw the Maggie S. one on this website and loved it. I also had the bow taken off and bought a brooch for 40$ to replace it. Altogether it came to 1,000 for the dress. I haven’t seen the finished project yet. I will upload the pic when it is done 🙂 Hope this helps a little!

LOVE the DB one! The bow on the side is so cute and just a little quirky!

I have the DB dress. I really like it alot. I’m also thinking of putting a brooch on in place of the bow to make it look more unique.
weddingdiva83: Where did you find the brooch your using? I’d love to see pics when it’s done!!

I think both dresses are beautiful but the DB one has a special place in my heart. I fell in love with it when I saw it in a Martha Stewart Wedding magizine. I will literally run to DB as soon as I get engaged to try it on 🙂

I think they are both gorgeous! It just depends on which looks better on you and which one gives you your “moment”! I would love to see pics of you in each dress 🙂

I almost bought the David’s Bridal one! I ended up going with a completley different dress covered in lace, but it was a tough choice! I absolutley loved it and had to think about which dress for a few days! I like both of your dresses, I feel like the David’s dress is a little more simplistic and the bow is detachble! 🙂

I tried on both and am going with the Sottero. The quality just seems much better and I liked the thicker beading. They are both very similar though, so I’m sure you will look great in either one.

I have tried the DB dress on and I say go with the Sottero. Much better quality than DB.
