I love these!!! You totally inspired me and my fiance loves the idea, too! Did you make the jam yourself? If not, what did you use and did you refridgerate them to keep them from spoiling?
My mom and I made the jam together about 1 or 2 months before the wedding. We filled 130 little jars and it took us like 6 hours because we made 3 small batches. I didnt refridgerate them, i just put the lids on and sealed them... at least i thought i had sealed them, but when i went to go eat from one of my jars after the wedding it wasn't really sealed, at least it didn't really make a popping noise when i twisted the lid. Anywho, it tasted fine to me, and no one else complained about getting sick. Haha.
I know you said you got the lables from an etsy seller, was it just the design they made for you and you printed your own lables or did they mail you the lables. I was just curious on where you purchased the colored lables and not just plain white.
carrot12- sorry for the late reply! the etsy seller was maupromos. i picked the colors and the design and the wording and she designed, printed and mailed them to me. But if you want colored labels i know papersource has them. Hope that helps!
My strawberry kiwi jam favors.
They are in 2oz jars that i got from specialtybottle.com i bought 130 of them for $80.
And the oh so cute labels are from etsy seller maupromos. (the labels say : love will get you through thick and thin no matter what jam you're in)
The fabric and ribbon are from joann fabrics.
