Acloyd1227: Thank you! First we cut pieces of wood to size and stained them grey. Then we took vintage lace curtains from my grandmother and cutout the lace pattern and tacked them to the wood with glue. The hurricanes we found on clearance at Christmas Tree Shops for 33 cents each. The glass tops were broken off from the woven bottoms and dirty. We cleaned them up and glued the glass to the wicker. Then we glued on two layers of ribbon and a stamped monogram. We cut carnations and floral taped 3-4 of them together and wired them with stainless steel washers so they would stay sunk. We filed the bottom with aquarium rocks and buried the washers in the rocks. Then we filled them with water and topped them with floating candles. Done!
Our handmade centerpieces. Total cost was less then $15 each!
