I  was thinking pinkish blush  colors as well..,, and I think veil,, but not over the face.. one that hangs from the back of the hair, or even just a beautiful jeweled hair piece maybe on the side, or back,,, a small tiara, woudl definitely add some elegance without being overbearing as well., the dress has enough laciness to it, maybe somehting that adds a little shimmer to your hair. I am  a wedding photographer, and I notice that anything that has a little shimmer anywhere, throws lights back into your eyes, and gives the illusion that your eyes have sparkle in them too. It shows up and looks great in photographs.

well, if you don’t feel it,, you just  don;t feel it.. don’t wear one just because others are pushing you, if it so important to them to  wera one, then let them  wear one at THEIR wedding,, :O),, but as I said,,  a beautiful jeweled hair piece to adorn an elegant hair style, or a small tiara,, either one of those would look PERFECT with this dress….  it is so elegant, as I  sais, teh dress is lacy and elegant all by itself,,I think the  veil  woudl take away, not only from the dress, but from the detailing as well,,, it woudl cover up the back,, also,, from a wedding photographer’s perspective,, if you have a good photographer, they are goingto  capture every detail of yoiur  wedding including your dress, and teh back of a dress that has defined details to show off. This dress definitely  does with teh plunging V-line,, this is going to be a most beautiful  shot by  yourself as well as with teh groom and creative shots!!! Also,, teh dress looks liek it has sequins or rhinestones,, something  with a bit of subtle sparkle,, again,,, fine details of the dress that you  don’t want to take away from or “covere up” also,, if you add soemthing small as a tiara, ir jeweled hair piece with a bit of shimmer, it’;s going to pick up those lights and you will sparkle in ANY light! these are details that are beautiful and as a photographer, definitely  somehting that we look for to show every thing that you took into  consideration for your special day! You  pay a LOT of $$ for that and you  want it to SHOW NOT be covered up because someone  thinks you  shoud wear a veil,  :O) It is a beautifull and elegant dress all on it’s own,, let it take on that beauty by itself with a few adornments here and there, less is definitely more, :) hope this helps!! absolutely beautiful! Good Luck,, and keep us posted, :)

as far as colors go, if  you are not happy with pinkish blushes,, how about something in the same realm of color just a bit richer.. what about a lavender or lilac?? That  would be beautiful as well, :)

Deep, dark purples go best with champane, cream, ivory, brown and greens. Eggplant would be my first choice, NO PINK PLEASE!!!!!! If you do not like purples then I would say go with your favorite and dont let everyone fill your head with what they want…… it’s your day and you have to live with the pics forever!!!LaughingTongue OutGood luck and if everyone keeps bugging you tape their mouths shut and stuff them in the truckSealedSealedSealed

For the veil issue… My dress is a keyhole back so of course I don’t want to cover that up but if you do a single layer veil it is pretty much see through.  You get to see the amazing back of the dress and get to wear a veil.  I didn’t think I was going to get one but like you said it is your one chance so I got one.  I am going to wear it on and off for pictures and then at the ceremony of course and then take it off for the rest of the night.

The yellow will probably clash with the rich champagne of you dress and perhaps cheepen it.  But you may find the perfect color to bring it to life.  I would say to put up dresses next to your dress and see what colors you think really pop with it.  Then you can go else where to find the style.

Mine dress is champagne and I am doing the purple with it.  It is so pretty together.  I think the vintage blue would be very sweet and elegant also.
