My FI is really into craft beer, he brews his own and everything. So after seeing someone do their table cards with different wine names, I thought, “Why not beer?!”
We have 25 tables, so I won’t post all of them, but here are a few. The cards will be doubled up together with a dowel rod in the middle which will be stuck in an empty bottle of the actual beer it is. We’ll fill the bottles with sand to weigh them down. Luckily FI saves all his beer bottles to reuse for his own home brews, so we had a TON of bottles/ brands of beer to choose from. LOL!
I google imaged the beer logos and then went to the website of each beer and copied some of the descriptions to add to the cards. I also added some personal info on some of the cards – like for Gumballhead, it’s what we both ordered on our first date, etc. We are also using some of FI’s home brews which is fun. He brews a lot with his BIL and dad, so it gives an additional personal touch.
I used Word and just laid out the pages in landscape and then made 2 columns to divide the page in half. When I found the pictures of the logos I saved them to a folder and then when they downloaded I dragged them to the document and sized them to fit. Super easy!
SSo, there will be another card affixed to the back side of this one, so they’re double sided.
FI, is so excited about these, lol! He got a little verklempt when I suggested it. :
He’s brewing a beer especially for the wedding called White Wedding Wit. It’s a belgian-style white ale, which is my favorite style of beer. So I made this for it:
Well, it’s a nice day for a white wedding….. wit!
Made by Adam, in honor of today, this is Jen’s favorite style of beer.
Toast to them, and Billy Idol, when you give this beer a try today! It is being served up at the bar
