- Wedding: April 2012
I knew I wanted tears of joy packets for my wedding so when I was buying some items from another bee they threw in a bunch of tissue packets. There were two kinds of tissues really cute ones that matched my colors and then normal ehh looking packets that were not my favorite. So I was going to try and make programs with little tissue packets on them originally. That way I would just take the tissues out of their packaging. Then I decided that was too much work. I have to make 162 programs…I know 162 people will not be crying. So I decided I would make seperate tears of joy packets. This is what I came up with.
I had these eco friendly favor bags left over that were just taking up room. I didn’t have enough of those cute little tissues for everyone so I punched holes into them and tied them over the top of the bags that were stuffed with the ugly tissues. Cute huh?
Here are the cute tissues with hole punched in them…
Here are the ugly tissue packets and the favor bags that I had left over…
Here is the finished packet. The ugly tissue packets were stuffed in the favor bag and the cute tissue packets were opened and individual tissues were wrapped over the top of the favor bags and holes were punched in them to match up with the holes in the favor bags…then they were tied off with a bow.
