Hi! This looks awesome so far! I’ll be attemping the same thing soon. I have a little over a year so I figured I can do a little at a time so I don’t want to cry 🙂  How are you doing it? Are you gluing it to something?

Thanks!

I’m assuming you’re using this to walk on down the aisle and not two on the sides? You may want to place some type of rubber backing or runner tape underneath, as the wax paper could be very slippery. Wouldn’t want anyone in your party to slip and fall! Looks absolutely gorgeous though, I love the variation of colors!  🙂

Quick Question:

How are you attaching the petals?  I am also making an aisle runner and I have run into a lot of problems.  I have used every method listed.  When I use fabric glue, it leaves a huge wet stain on the flowers.  Hot gluing the flowers is going faster and it doesn’t take as much glue but, it also leaves a wet looking spot.  The spray glue isn’t working for me at all. How did you attach your petals without the glue showing on the petals? I will be using a blue satin material under the tulle and I will be putting tacky tape on the sides of the runner so that it won’t slip on the tile floor of the church.

I’m thinking about doing one of these myself….I’m not getting married for another two years, but as busy ans I am, I may need to start it now. I think I’m just going to do the two on the side.
