Sell that bad boy and make someone’s dream come true….It’s hard to come by a reasonably priced dress of your dreams when you’re on a budget and can’t afford it.Money Mouth

Sell it, like blasiangyrl said make someone on a tighter budgets dreams come true. I’m in the process of selling mine to a girl that can only afford about half of what I paid for it, it’s a great feeling to help her on her special day. And lets be realistic, you are never gonna wear it again, you could have it preserved but then it would just be put away for ever and we all know we wouldn’t have worn our mother’s wedding dress so it’s unlikely our daughters will want to wear ours, lol! You look stunning btw, this picture is so beautiful!

Idk, everyone here seems so sure about selling, but I personally cannot get myself to let go of mine, despite that I have NO ROOM in my closet for it and even less if I had it preserved and boxed.  I think you’re supposed to try to figure out how sentimental you are about it, but don’t ask me how to do that!

@mrs.PHAN-tastic: For me it has nothing to do with wanting my future daughters to wear my dress…dress shopping was, without a doubt, the best part of wedding planning and I wouldn’t want my daughters to not have that experience.  Its more about memories…its great to look at pictures and stuff, but its totally different to have it in person.  AND though I never considered wearing my mother’s dress it was really a special moment with me and my mom to get hers out and look at it with her and watch her remembering everything – I’ve never seen her look the way she did holding her dress when looking at pictures of her wedding.

I sold mine yesterday, it was hard to see it go, but I’m glad I did it. It felt so good to help out the girl who wanted my dress so bad but couldn’t afford it brand new. She was so excited picking it up from me and that made me feel so good inside=) I think you will feel the same way!
