- Wedding: May 2009
I had seen a transparent menu in a picture somewhere and thought it looked cool, so we had these printed at Kinkos (laser-printed on transparency paper). The pic shows two rolled-up ones and one un-rolled one. We bound them with silver curling ribbon, used a hole-puncher to add holes to my Moo cards (front side: engagement shots; backside: info on uploading digital pics) as well as a silver placecard telling people where to sit at the table. The wedding had a peacock theme, and we stuck a single peacock feather in the middle of every menu. Our pictures are actually even more peacock-themed than we thought they’d be (we’re thrilled) because gentlemen stuck the peacock feathers in their breast pockets, or ladies stuck them in their hair.
We got the matchbooks and the beverage napkins from TheKnot.com. The silver box at the top of the pic was a box of chocolate truffles from Malley’s, well known in Ohio.
