I am in love with these type of photos but I'm also so in love with my dress and I was woundering does this actually "trash" the dress. i am getting married at the beach so pics would be like yours. Did the dress survive?? P.S Amazing photo

Hey Ladies! thanks so much - im glad you all like this picture as much as i do. I think if you are willing to get the dress professionally cleaned you will be ok. This dress was soaked! and completely covered in sand. After the shoot i just stuck it in the shower to get all the sand off and dropped it at the cleaners when i got home. Just be careful where you sit, for example my husband and i climbed on these rocks and my dress has some algea stains on it that im hoping the cleaners can get out, but besides that, the sand and water didnt hurt my dress at all.

Thank youI will see if I will be brave enough to actually do this in a lake. It still may turn out wonderful but I have a ball gown with lots of light material so there may extra steps involved. But.. thank you for the input.=)...I might not... but if I do, the advice helps.

Absolutely amazing photo!! My plan is to get our trash the dress shoot done at the beach where my fiance proposed! Everyone things I'm crazy and I'll ruin my dress..but honestly..when else am I gonna wear it! And the photos look great...yours is exhibit A!! haha! Love it, love it, love it!! :)
