what if you did a cream colored underlay so it looked more like “sand” I love the little scatters everywhere
Thanks, I haven’t decided on the underlay yet, That’s just my wood dining table. I was thinking of using something burlap, to give it texture. Thanks…at least someone commented 🙂
I don’t want to take away from your creativity, so let me start off by saying this is a great start!!! I’m just a little concerned that the display is too large. I know your own table is probaly much smaller than what you’ll have at the wedding, so it’s a little hard to guage.
How large of a table are you planning on? I had 10 seaters (72″ diameter round tables) and with all of the plates, glasses, cutlery, wine bottles, & signage there really wasn’t a lot of room left on the table for a large center piece.
I do think though that you could make a larger display like this on something like a gift table or where you will have seating cards or a picture display. The dining tables themselves could be just as nice on a smaller scale.
Good Luck – would love to see what you end up doing!
I imagine you’ll need to bring in the items a little closer to accommodate for dishes and stuff but otherwise this is awesome! I like the eclectic feel of beachy treasures washed ashore. 🙂
I agree, I like what you have but I think they will have a greater impact more clustered together in the middle
We actually have long rectangle tables, and I don’t have to plan everything stretched out, but when I had everything to size it was hard to display a pic, so I spread things apart so you can get a better visual. I just don’t want centerpieces that have been done before. Thanks for all the imput!
I agree also. I think you centerpieces are very innovative and beautiful. I was going to say the same thing of having the pieces more closely clustered, but now that I read that you wanted us to have an enhanced visual.. it’s perfect!
these were our beach centerpieces…very easy and inexpensive to make… the lil candles flickerd. (battery opperated)
holy cow…sorry its huge :-/
