So, I saw this cake topper online before and I thought it was adorable. I believe a woman makes them on Etsy and sells them for like 80-100 (which is way out of my budget). I studied the picture, and thought “I could do that!”. Here’s a breakdown of everything
Wooden heads – 2.99
Doll parts – 2.99
Fabric – 3.00
Flowers – 2.00
Cake topper – 1.00
Seashells – 1.00
Wooden piece to glue over the cake topper – 1.00
*I already had a hot glue gun, glue sticks, spray pain, paint pens for the dolls, etc. so I was luck on that part. It took me forever to glue everything, but I think it turned out great and it barely cost me anything! We are getting married in Florida, hence the beach theme…What do you think?

They came out really good. I would like to do something similar but include our dogs. What store did you purchase the doll parts in? And what are the arms made from?

I bought the doll heads and doll body parts from hobby lobby. they sell them in a pack of like 12 for 2.99; I used just hemp for the arms. I made a knot at the end of three very small pieces of hemp, and just braided it. Since most people don’t see the arms that much, I wouldn’t stress about it!
