As part of our ceremony, we’re having a unity candle ceremony. However, the unity candles that our wedding site provides are very expensive and very plain. They did not go well with the rest of our very colorful wedding. So, being frugal and addicted to color and shiny-things, I dressed up the cheapest candles I could find:

I used crystal stickers (for scrapbooking) and gold paint. I added a gold charger, colored tapers and marble accents and this was the end result:
Our altar table will have black linens on it and I have not yet decided whether the marbles will be scattered on the linens or stay within the charger. Any opinions on which looks better?
