Love it.  I did the same thing, only with hot pink and black and I made my carnations.  It looks lovely!

Very cute, I was considering making mines with red roses but the carnations looks great and is way cheaper. Red Carnations it is, thanks for sharing.

For my wedding I did something similar but in the vase I filled it with the flower hydrating jewels and I put 2 submergeable lights I bought a large pack at joanns and used a coupon. It looked amazing especially if you have romantic lighting at your reception! Just a thought, something you might want to try out.
