These are amazing. can you tell us how you made these? What supplies you used? And about how much did you spend on the whole project?
@Janixx1- Thanks! They are really easy! I bought skinny wooden popsicle-like sticks from hobby lobby. Then picked out some scrapbook paper for the background, plain kraft paper for the center. Then typed up the phrases, my soon to be last name inital, and wedding date in word (printed on the kraft paper obviously). Have you ever seen those little glue dots in craft stores? They come on a roll and in various sizes. I used petite thin permanent ones to adhere the paper to the sticks and center to the scrapbook paper. Then of course you need the different punches. The outer shape is a 1.5″ scalloped circle and the middle i believe is a 1″ circle. For the smaller circle i would recommend finding a punch that you can see what your punching because you dont want to cut off the words! Mine is fiskars. All in all….its a fun project. Im debating on how many to make though cause im not sure if people will actually use them!! Good luck!
Here is a rough estimate in costs. Make sure to use coupons!!!
Wooden sticks- $1.99
Scrapbook paper- $8 (on sale)
Kraft paper- $3
Glue dots $3 a roll….not sure how many i will end up using…but there are 300 in a pack and i use about 5 per stirrer
Scalloped circle- $5 with coupon
Small circle- $5 with coupon
These are the best drink stirrers I have seen! What font did you use?
Thanks! Great job 🙂
Its called Rosewood. And thanks!
