Do you have any suggestions for any other colors? Could you paint the clear lights or would that just be a big no-no?

Hi! I think its so frustrating to get a high quote on something that is so basic. WooHooo for you for finding a way around the “pro” set up. I think it looks a bit more fusia than true red but the translation on my screan might be off a bit. Id like to ask..Im e x t r e a m l y new to the planning and wonder..where will you use this “uplightinig’?

It looks VERY red to me. Can you post pics of the light itself or how you have it set up? What are you going to clamp it to? I would love to do this.

I love it!  I, too, would like to see what the plywood part looks like.  They seem very red to me.

I was just discussing the lightning issue with my parents. So expensive and I have become a diy bride for sure. I love this thank you so much. I would love to see how you mounted it on the plywood.

That’s so awesome you just posted this!!!! Lowes is on our list tomorrow to find something to do this!! He had suggested this…but I”m always a sceptic 🙂 lol but it looks good!  I think that definatly looks red…but could be my screen?  I wonder if there is a way to get the light to not spread so much?  I kinda like the more “fanned out spotlight” look rather that coloring the whole wall.  hmmmmm thanks for posting!!! great find!
