- Wedding: October 2012
Okay, so my wedding is a rather fun wedding, lots of personal touches, lots of hard work done by me and only me! GAH! Wish I had a MOH who lived in the same state as me! That’d be nice lol. It’s eclectic, that’s the best way to describe it honestly. A little vintage, a little modern, a little woodland, and whatever else I throw in. but most of all, it’s not really very formal at all. So I knew when I started planning I didn’t want any really fussy invites. I wanted something cute that represented my personality (because if we were representing my dear FI personality it would be all about horror movies! lol don’t get me wrong though, I love them just as much as he does!) So this is what I decided to do, I went out and bought a rather generic invite kit from a discount store. I was never happy with them because they weren’t me! So I took a page from a notebook I have and glued a piece of paper onto the invite. This is no where near the finished product! This is just a test drive. I will most likely be hand writing my invitations (again more work for me!) I will be adding a tree bark stamp around the corner, or maybe just cutting the edges off, then I’m making smaller cards for RSVP and for directions and other info. My wedding programs will also be something similar.
I have other paper I was going to use as well, not sure which one I’ll be using for sure yet. But this was cute because my wedding is in April, so very springy! 🙂 Is it a little on the childish side? Maybe, but that’s okay with me! My wedding was originally in October, so everything was a little dark, I am trying to lighten things up a bit.
