I bought the boxes from AC Moore- they run 9.99 for the set of 3- i had a 50% off coupon.
I bought scrap book paper from Michaels and Jo Ann Fabrics- the papers usually run .99 each-however i had gotten 10 peices from micheals on sale.
I cut out the bottom of the smaller boxes, measuring them to the next level, then i cut out the lid for the botton box. I didnt want to use the lid on the middle tier- i didnt think it was needed so i threw it away.
When i bought the paper i made sure that it measured up to each side on the bottoms- and then bought enough to cover- i think it was like 20 peices total, however i had extra left over so i was able to line the inside of the box as well!
I then took each box individually and used spray adhesive, on both the paper and the box- lined up the sheets then attached the sheets- then i used my hot glue gun to taper down the sides, since it holds better. I folded the seams under for them to meet, which left a lil fold.
When all of the boxes were covered, i then glued them together, then i added the pearls to each seam. I added rhinestones to the centers of each swirl.
I attached the brooch to the flower using hot glue, then attached them to the box.
