We have been planning our engagement photos for months! Okay, we meaning I have been planning for months! lol I had seen ideas for vintage picnic engagement shoots, and I had a pretty specific vision for what I wanted it to look like.
I found a photographer (Defining Moments Photography!) who specialized in vintage shoots, and was thrilled with my ideas. YES! She was so helpful, and had many of the props I needed, vintage picnic basket, suitcases, etc! I brough along a bird cage, coca cola bottles, cupcakes, books, flowers, and my hand sewn engagement banner (Thats another post!) and any other props I could find!
Once it was all set up, I couldnt help but shed a tear (I'm a crier!) because my vision really had come to life!
We must have chosen the coldest day of the year to shoot on, I believe it was 37 degrees..In California! Maybe our smiles were frozen on? lol
(I could post a million more, but It may take me all night! lol)
After the vintage shoot was complete, we drove a few miles out of the woods to El Matador Beach in Malibu and shot some more casual shots there.
I could not have asked for a better exerience, and the pictures turned out better than I ever could have imagined!
Did any of you have a theme for your engagment shoot?
These are incredible! We didn't exactly have a theme but one of our outfits we used a balloon bouquet and I like to think of it as "Love is in the air".
