Our wedding had a Gray/Fuschia/Black color scheme with an elegant/baroque/rock star vibe… Sorta. The venue was very music oriented, so we decided to play into it with a couple of touches, including these VIP (Very Important Partier) lanyard passes as guest place cards.
We ordered the lanyards ($0.25 each) and plastic name tag holders ($0.12 each) from USAlanyards.com
I designed the VIP tags and personalized each one with the guest’s name, table name, and color depending on meal choice (black was beef, gray was chicken, etc.) I took a flash drive with me to Kinko’s where they printed them all out on a nice card stock, and I cut each one out on their paper cutters. Each sheet fit 9 cards.
Here they are on the guest table, waiting for all the happy partiers:
(You can tell that most people ordered the beef)
I thought most people would place the tags on the table rather than wear them, but I was wrong! People were totally rocking these all night! Observe:
Made my crafty heart so happy!
