We made this sign to hang outside my parent’s home. The “Vu Quy” sign is typically hung outside the Bride’s home and it means “leaving home” or something to that nature. Outside the Groom’s home they usually have a sign that says “Tan Hon” meaning “newly wed” or “just married.”
Backgroud: On the day of the wedding the groom and his family will go “pick up” the bride. To designate which house is the bride’s house, they will have the sign.

OoO This answer may be very late, but here goes. This project was very simple. The two double happiness signs are stickers that I bought from the Asian supermarket, but you can order them online or print them on a color printer with pretty cardstock. I picked up the frame from a garage sale. I bought red wrapping paper that I cut to size to fit inside the picture frame. You can print the Vu Quy on your computer and cut them out then glue them to the wrapping paper. It’s very easy. YOu can probably make it a lot prettier than I did if you have a lot of time.
