These are the pomander balls I made for our outdoor ceremony. They will be hanging from shepards hooks that I got from Joann Fabrics for $2.00 each. I bought the Sheet Moss from Michaels, the styrofoam 6″ green ball from Michael’s and the ribbon was left over from another project. I then bought buttons and hot glued them onto the center of the ribbon bow.

These are very cute! How much do you think the ball cost you?

Well the ball is $4.99 at Joann’s minus 40% off= $3.00
Sheet moss $3.99(completely covers 2 6inch balls)minus 40% off= $2.39/2= $1.20
ribbon $3.99 for the whole roll(not sure how much was used, used already open rolls)=$1.00
buttons(pack of two) $5.00, minus 40%= $3.00/2=$1.50
So all together I spent about $6.70, which seems kind of high now that I think about it.
But you could buy a premade moss ball at Michael’s for $5.99 minus 40%=$3.59
plus the ribbon and button=$6.09, but I like the way the homeade ones look better. 🙂
