Thanks mrsmcleantobe. Yep, I wore a veil which I attached at the top of where the curls/basketweave thing started. And I also wore a flower right behind my ear on the left side. There are photos of it all together in this gallery if you are interested. I then took the veil off for the reception.
mrscleantobe - My hair wasn't terribly long - about to my armpit (sorry to be crass). My hair stylist added extensions of the same length in the back (crown area) of my hair only for volume (no added length). I have photos of my day after session in the gallery as well in which I wore my hair down so you can get an idea of the length and volume. I was dead set against the idea for months and she finally convinced me. So glad so did. It was lovely and my hair looked awesome for our honeymoon on the beach.
But I suspect that you could probably just have your hairdresser add some (if you need more volume) just for the day of your wedding.
