We are using the wedding lasso tradition during our ceremony. As with just about everything, I figured I could make something that I really love myself since stores just don’t seem to sell what I envision in my head! I just bought all different kinds of beads and wire and went to town!

What is the wedding lasso tradition?
I don’t really have instructions. I just bought pre-strung beads, wire, rhinestone brooches and beading string and started making it up as I went along! Sorry I can’t provide a better description but it’s much easier than it looks if you buy the kind of beads that are already strung together.
Here’s something I found on the internet to explain the wedding lasso tradition:
This wedding rosary is used to symbolize the unification of the couple through prayer.
The wedding rosary is actually two individual and complete rosaries which meet and become one before the crucifix.
Our moms will each be placing one of the rosaries over us as we kneel before the priest.
I did add prayer beads after every 10th bead after this photo was taken to make it more of a rosary.
