These are cute, how did you make them?
Thx, I used clear stones, bought them at Dollar Tree. I used a paper punch to punch out the pic. You can use any pic with words or just a design. The paper punch was a 1 inch paper punch, the same size as the pic. Then, took Mod Podge (can be bought at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby) and smeared it on the bottom of the stone, then placed the circle on top, let it dry overnight. Once dry, I glued the magnets on, letting it dry again overnight. I designed the card in Microsoft Powerpoint and a tool called SnagIt. SnagIt allowed me to “cut” the tree and stars from my wedding invitation. I used glue dots to hold the word magnets onto the card.
They were very easy to make and I absolutely love them!
These look amazing! What a cute idea!
They do look amazing-simple and inexpensive too! Thank you for the tutorial 🙂
I love magnets! I collect them like crazy! This would be a perfect fit for me for the reception! Great idea!!
