I think it looks great and I like the baby’s breath. I have heard that too much baby’s breath can start to smell bad. Apparently it got it’s name from the sour milk smell of baby’s breath. I have never smelled that, but I have heard it said on other wedding blogs.

Also, in all honesty, I think I would like it better without the large crystal on the ribbon. It makes it look less formal and more “try-hard” Maybe a smaller crystal, or nothing at all? It is very pretty no matter what you choose

Did you say budget? 🙂 Here’s some tips for that look:

If you want to put a mirror underneath and light 2-4 candles around it for the “shimmer” effect, buy the mirror at the Dollar Tree! I bought these, but I removed the framing from around them(SUPER easy!). They were the size I was wanting, and I didn’t have to pay the $5 price I was finding! The only difference in these and some of the others, is the edge. But for my purpose of saving money, it didn’t bother me one bit! :

Also, you can get decent size vases in that shape at the Dollar Tree as well!

As far as voltives, my best deal has been at Wal*Mart. I found 12 voltive holders with candles in them for $6.50 each!

You might’ve already found deals on all of the above, but I thought I’d share! Lol

There are TONS of beautiful baby’s breath centerpiece ideas… I would tie the baby’s breath with a ribbon and use beads filler in a coordianting color to give it better flow.. and no bling…

i like it but have you tried crystal water gems/balls…all types of colors…i would just use them in clear water or u can even get the dollar tree cylinders paint them with frost paint and put those submergible floralytes ..like the picture above..they carry them at joanns…im waiting for coupons so i can go purchse them myself for my centerpieces..they would end up cheaper than purchasing them online…

Very nice…I think the yellow will be a nice off the white…instead of the usual beads or filler u could also maybe try cut up lemons on the sides of the vase…these are inexpensive as well.  i think the tea lights would b a great addition – check michaels coupons…i got 12 of them for just $4 – they sell in a case in there candle section…they have had 50% coupons lately 🙂  I second the dollar tree – as i have gotten some of my cylinders there as well.  Best of luck and congrats!

try putting the lemons in a cylinder instead of your traditional vase too…to see how that comes out….maybe with a wider white ribbon…or use a wide white ribbon and use a thinner yellow ribbon to give it a little difference…look forward to your posts!

I like the idea of a using a frosted vase. I used carnations bunched together in a large white vase. I think when the vase is colored…. it’s less distracting and more simple and modern.

I like the small round ones for cocktail tables. You could even just skip the red gems and do the mums floating in water. Very simple 🙂
