It would be super cute if you maybe made sure the flowers were lower and added water and put floating candles on top of the in the round vase you could maybe put two smaller floating candles to make it different than the taller vase. If you want to stick with only flowers the purple would look great with some bright green Hydrangeas (see link below), maybe some white peace lilies with a little bit of green running through the center of them, or if you want something really different you could add some Kiwi Green Cymbidium Orchid (second link) That way you would have long flowers and some short chunky flowers that way it looks full and almost eclectic.

I green and purple wedding, I thought it would be super cute to mix flowers and fruits. Like little bright green crab apples, some limes then a vase with flowers all different size vases. I was going to throw little flowers or petals in the vases with the limes and apples to break up the green and make it all flow together a bit better. Just a thought:)

I definatly thin you should use some lighting and a small mirror  underneath to reflect some of the light  will play off rreally nice ang trim the stems just let the blooms sit .. yo can even tint the water (food coloring)

U can usevortices candles around them. The food coloring in water is great idea as well as water pearls. They come in all types of colors.
