I have the best group of women in my wedding party. Each one I consider to be my best friend (yes all 5) they represent a different part of my life and I can not think of a better group to stand next to me on my wedding day. I found it so funnny that each one knew she would be in my wedding with out me asking, but I wanted to do something special that they could keep to remeber this wonderful time.
Thus my first wedding DIY experience. I made the cards in Publisher using fonts I found for free online. The best advice I have is to add a very faint border around each card that way when you cut them out they all end up the same size (I learned this the hard way and started over after my first try looked more like a scrapbook disaster)
I hope you like it and find inspreation to ask your ladies to be yours!!

oh sorry here is the card when you open it.
and a better view of all the cards.
I used a print out of the dress I want each girl to wear and cut it out using an xacto knife. I really love that card 🙂

Thank you all for your kind comments! I am out of town for the week and do not have access to my personal computer. Sadly I do not have a template that I can send out its more like 6 different documents lol. I used Microsoft Publisher and just created text boxes with all the same width and descending height by about .5 if I remember right.
Everything I have in the cards was written to each person but when I get back I will put up some of the ones I really liked. I think that was part of the fun thinking of silly things to say to mix in with the more serious.

I am so sorry it has taken me so long to post this. Here is the info from the cards that I put on everyones, the other were personal.
I will not assume that you are throwing a bridal shower. As a bridesmaid, your ONLY true obligation is to stand up with us
I promise to get everyone’s input so you can feel comfortable and attractive. I will not stuff everyone into hot-pink sausage casings. I will not make busty ladies wear strapless dresses
I will not delegate a million weird jobs to you, and I will be grateful for everything you do. I will recognize that every moment you spend on anything wedding related is a gift in itself.
If I otherwise fail to keep my sense of proportion and/or my sense of humor about all things wedding-related, you will hit me in the head with a brick.
You will attend the ceremony rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, and have at least a vague idea of the wedding day timeline (which will be provided to you in advance).
You will be available on the day of the wedding to let the nice ladies put makeup on you and do your hair, help me get dressed, pose for pictures, tell me if my make-up is fading, and other things I can’t foresee yet. Just generally be available to help with stuff, if needed .
