But then again you have to have a beautiful canvas to work with in the first place ;) Those lashes just open up those gorgeous peepers and make you unstoppable :) PS: The arch of your eyebrows are perfect and highlight your eyes and brighten your entire face just beautifully!!!!

WOW your wedding was beautiful! An even though it rained yall made the best if it, and your pictures are so adorable.

Thank you all so much for all the kind words. "hisbahamamama" you are so correct. All we wanted was to get married. The details were wonderful but not the most important part at that moment. I live about two hours from my mother and the location of the wedding. Thank goodness for phones so we could text ideas and pictures back and forth. The chandeliers all came from http://www.saveoncrafts.com and they were all battery powered candles. We were able to light them all several hours prior to the wedding beginning and they lasted until we turned them off the next day. Even thru the rain. They darker it got, the more beautiful the candles were. The string lights were purchased at Big Lots. Nylon twine was tight to trees in a grid and the lights were laced across the grid.

Oh my goodness these pictures just made me all kinds of giddy.  The one of the flower girl and ring bearer was a teen girl squee moment. Thank god nobody else is around. Congrats!

This is one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot) I love that it was about you getting married and not the "perfect wedding" Please share details on the lights and chandeliers you had hanging, that looks exactly like what I want but I'm having a hard time figuring out the logistics. Was the chandelier at the altar and candle one? 

Talk about memorable! These pictures show so much love and happiness! (Think of it this way... you weathered your first big storm as a married couple!!!! lol)

One of my favorite weddings was June of last year. In Oregon you can hope, pray, plan, (maybe even play with voodoo) and check the weather forecast a million times but you are NEVER sure if the rain will stay away! lol It totally poured the day of our friend's wedding. Everyone was soaked, the wedding party was drenched & caked with mud, and the dinner rolls were totally waterlogged... but it was AMAZING!

Great pictures! Very romantic....

April Showers, plus outside wedding, we tried to cover all bases. The location is family land and this is the third year in a row a wedding has been held. It rained on the other two dates also. The rain did stop prior to the other weddings beginning. For us, it didn't start raining until the procession begain. So we were lucky enough to take all pictures prior to the ceremony. And then we just embraced the rain and enjoyed every minute.

That may be the sweetest thing I've ever seen...how did you know to the the umbrella thing??? Love it!!

Just a note to all the Brides, no matter what happens on your wedding day, it is still the most wonderful day of your life and will be exactly what you make of it. Embrace all the joys of the day. And come rain or sunshine, it's still a happy day!
