I'm not a fan of it but it sounds like its very important for  you to incorporate it.... Maybe you can wear it for a few pics or at the reception while yo are dancing and having fun! Not sure if I'd wear it walking down the isle... I think people might be focusing on the hat instead of you!

 I saw use it! It will be so different and very touching for your grandmother! U can totally do it! It would go great with a brooch bouquet. Check my DIY section i have mine in there! Good luck 

There is a lot to be said for a family tradition. Did everyone else choose to where it? I don't think I would want to wear it and I wouldn't want to take it appart either. Tough one, let us know what you decide.

Okay, so my grandmother gave me this 1950's bridal hat that she wore for her wedding which has been passed down. I havent decided if i want to wear it or not. She did say that if i wanted to i could use just peices of it!

So bees what do you think?

I just turned 41 and wanted to do something fun!  So I planned a Mad Hatter Merry Birthday Tea Party.  I had a blast!  I custom made everything including my shoes!
